EMPLOYEE RETENTION CREDITS (ERC)

If you are a small business that had W-2 employees during 2020 and 2021 Covid pandemic you may be eligible to receive a refund of up to $26,000 per employee.

Employee Retention Credit (ERC), was put in place by Congress through the Cares Act. This is for Employers who retained their employees during the Covid Outbreak of 2020 and 2021. These employers must have had W2 employees who they retained during this period. It allows them to get a refund/credit based on the wages that they paid out during that period. This program has been in affect since 2020 and is set to expire. 80% of black businesses are unaware of this program or just unaware of how to go by filing for their ERC Credit.
